Tap the Set Up Now button to bring up the Add Account page, as shown in the picture, where you can enter either an email address or a social networking account to get started.

For the purposes of this article, we’ll create a LinkedIn account by selecting LinkedIn from the SNS Account section.

 You can choose from intervals ranging from Never, which means you’ll have to manually check your email by tapping the Refresh icon within the Messages page, to Once a Day, and everything in between.

In addition, the Galaxy Tab will automatically sync your email and notify you when a new email arrives in the status bar by default.

If you want to automatically download attachments to your email messages when you have an active Wi-Fi connection, select the Automatically download attachments when connected to Wi-Fi checkbox in the Email menu.

To proceed to the final Set Up Email page, select Next from the menu bar.

Here, you can type in a name for the account as well as the name you want to be displayed on outgoing messages.

You can finish by selecting Done from the menu bar when you’re finished adding the information.
