What Is Samsung Refrigerator Recall List? Being the owner of a malfunctioning fridge can be very upsetting. But having a refrigerator you should call your own is downright terrifying. Your refrigerator may start to burn out, leak gas, or even explode. That will only lead to disaster.

The majority of trustworthy refrigerator manufacturers recall their goods as soon as they discover a defective component that can be dangerous. Samsung, meanwhile, hasn’t taken any initiative in this regard.

More than 100,000 people (as of January 2022) joined a Facebook group where they voiced their complaints about a faulty Samsung refrigerator.

For more than 20 different refrigerator models, Samsung is currently the target of a class action lawsuit. The lawsuit describes flaws in the built-in door ice producers that lead to ice compartments that leak, slush, and freeze over.

Additionally, there are issues with freezing up, fan noise from an overly-iced section, and water leaking from the icehouse beneath the refrigerator’s crisper trays.

Numerous freezers reportedly stopped cooling entirely. They hired repairmen, but they were unable to resolve the problem. Sometimes the issue was momentarily resolved, but later it recurs, leaving the fridge inoperable.

You should request a refund, says Tom, and if you don’t get one, you should complain to the FTC. He even produced a YouTube video to demonstrate how to do it.

A homeowner who bought his Samsung refrigerator, model #RF28HMEDBSR, recently received an email informing him that he would soon be receiving a refund check. He will receive the entire purchase price refunded because he purchased the Lowe’s Extended Protection plan.

This was by far the worst Samsung refrigerator model, with the most complaints across the board. For the hashtag #RF28HMEDBSR, there were 25 different threads that we found, and several comments below them from people who were complaining about various problems.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT HAVE AN EXTENDED PROTECTION PLAN OR WARRANTY?

You don’t have to do nothing just because you don’t have a warranty (or that warranty has expired) or a protection plan. When advised that a Samsung refrigerator is out of warranty, many customers give up. Never give up too quickly.

Join the Facebook group or take the actions listed above to show Lowe’s, Home Depot, Best Buy, or whoever else sold you the refrigerator that it was defective from the start.

Lacking the receipt?

While I cannot speak for other retailers, you can get in touch with Lowe’s warranty section. They can email you a PDF of your receipt or proof of purchase. This will aid you in winning at least a service call while you fight for an actual refund or replacement, which is a more difficult battle.

First, submit a complaint to Samsung.

Because they act as a consumer watchdog, the Facebook group is a terrific location to visit. But you should first try to fix the problem with Samsung.

One user said they sent an email to officeofthepresident@sea.samsung.com and received a response from someone at Samsung with the email deyanira.d@partner.sea.samsung.com, suggesting that this may be a simple and rapid way to get a response.
