Samsung q50r Review [#1 GUIDE]
The Samsung tv Q50R QLED is a nice 32-inch 4K LCD tv with a QLED display.
It produces a reasonable overall picture quality, with deep blacks and a wide color spectrum, although the image diminishes when seen at an angle, as is common with VA Dolby vision televisions in general.
It has outstandingly low input lag, which is excellent for gaming, but it does not support any advanced gaming features, such as FreeSync, which is a shame.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that it has a fast response time, there are some obvious motion artifacts when viewing certain content, and it is not capable of producing very brilliant images in High Dynamic Range.

Quick Review
Overall, the Samsung Q50R is a nice LCD tv than apple tv for the majority of people.
For sports or television shows in a bright environment, it’s perfect as long as the viewer isn’t interested in moving about much.
There is little input lag and the response time is lightning fast.
It provides superb gaming performance for Samsung smart tv, especially for OLED tv.
Because it only has decent black uniformity and no local dimming option, it isn’t nearly as suitable for watching movies in SDR or HDR-led tv in a dark room as other models in this price range.
Special Features of Samsung Q50r TV:
With the Q50R, Samsung says that it covers up to 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, which technically means that this display is capable of displaying a greater range of colors at a variety of brightness settings than previous models.
If you compare this display to many other non-quantum dot displays, you’ll see that it uses quantum dot QLED TV to produce more intense and brilliant hdr tv colors.
As viewing quantum HDR content, the Q50R is compatible with the HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats, allowing for increased visual contrast and brightness, as well as a more colorful color palette, when compared to standard definition video of apple device tv.
QLED tv backlighting with an ultra-slim array of edge-lit LEDs: This dynamically fine-tuned Ultra Slim Array dynamically adjusts everything from the depth of the blacks to the brightness of the whites to provide a 100 color volume picture with incredible contrast.
1. 4K hdr Ultra High Definition Processor:
A powerful CPU that enhances the performance of the TV while maintaining 4K visual quality.
Motion Rate 120 significantly minimizes or completely eliminates motion artifacts. (Refresh rate of 60 hertz)
2. OneRemote:
Access Samsung’s Smart Hub and Bixby, the VA TVs built-in intelligent voice assistant, using the built-in microphone on the remote control that comes with the television.
Change channels, search for content, and even inquire about the weather are all made simple with Bixby’s voice-activated technology.
Smart TV with Universal Guide (also known as a universal remote):
The intuitive on-screen navigation provided by Samsung makes it simple to search for and locate streaming material and live television broadcasts because of this universal guide.
The Samsung Q50R tv is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa smart devices, allowing you to handle various TV operations such as changing channels, adjusting the volume, controlling playback, and more, simply by speaking into the device.
Apple AirPlay 2 technology, which is built-in, allows wireless streaming from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
3. Gameplay:
There are two game modes. Optimizes your game experience by reducing input lag to a minimum.
2 channel speaker system with a power of 20 watts

A review of the 32-inch tv Q50R from a well-known online journal has lately come to my attention, so please bear with me.
I’ve compiled a summary of features to what I feel to be the most important “pros” and “cons” performance outcomes from this assessment that would be of use to prospective buyers.
Review of the Design
1. Does the Samsung Q50R have a curved screen? No
The Q50R is a beautiful piece of machinery. It has a frame that is slightly thicker than that of the higher-end, larger Samsung QLED TVs, such as the Samsung Q60R, but it has a similar appearance.
However, given the tiny size of this television, the placement of the feet should not be a problem for most people.
It has a similar build quality as the Q60R, however, it is primarily constructed of plastic. It only has rudimentary cable management.
2. Stand
The feet are placed at either end of the television and do not prevent the television from shaking in any way.
The 32-inch stand has a footprint of 25.5″ x 6.1″
3. Back
VESA 100×100 VESA 100×100 wall mount
Unlike the other 2019 QLEDs we’ve examined, the back of this device is simple and has a slightly distinct texture.
The only cable management is provided by a clip on the back legs, which is all that is needed.
4. Borders
Borders are 0.43″ in width (1.1 cm)
Because of the small size of the TV, the borders are quite obvious, especially when compared to the rest of the picture.
5. Thickness
1.22″ is the maximum thickness (3.1 cm)
When wall-mounted, this TV is extremely slim and does not protrude much from the wall.
6. High-Quality Construction
The Samsung QN32Q50R is constructed with a high level of quality.
It has a similar appearance to the Q60R and is virtually entirely constructed of plastic.
During the building’s construction, there are no evident areas of concern.
Picture Quality Review
Consumer Reports is testing the Samsung Q50R as part of their television testing program.
In our lab testing, television models such as the QN32Q50R are evaluated based on a variety of criteria, some of which are included below.
High-definition picture quality Basic HD content was used in the evaluation (non-HDR).
Expert testers perform objective tests and subjective evaluations once the television has been set using normal picture parameters to produce the highest-fidelity image possible.
The visual attributes of detail, color accuracy, and contrast were evaluated using movies from a variety of sources, including a Blu-ray player, a cable box, and professional broadcast equipment, among others.
All video content is played back through the HDMI inputs on the television.
Some testing is also carried out using the USB port on the television.
High-definition picture quality 4K-UHD footage that is not high-dynamic-range (HDR) was used in the evaluation.
(The substance of HDR images is examined individually.)

HDR HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a metric that measures how well a television can reproduce the enhanced picture quality of HDR material.
A display with a high peak brightness capability, which enables it to exhibit images with more realistic lighting and highlights, is the best display for demonstrating the benefits of high dynamic range.
Excellent high-dynamic-range imaging can also reproduce precise gradations of shadow detail from black to white and exhibit a larger variety of colors than traditional imaging methods can. Ineffective HDR produces images that are no better than those produced by conventional standard dynamic range (SDR) televisions, if at all.
Performance Review
1. Samsung Q50R (Quantum Dot)
The Samsung Q50R is the most responsive of all the 32-inch televisions we tested for our roundup, and it also happens to be the most expensive.
Unfortunately, because of some fancy technology, the Q50R is the most expensive television in the group, despite the fact that it has the best-looking picture.
The Q50R is a 4K TV, which means that 4K games and streaming material will be displayed in their native quality, as opposed to the rest of the TVs we’ve examined so far.
According to our lab testing, the Q50R’s display is also equipped with quantum dots, which helps to ensure that the TV’s color reproduction is both accurate and voluminous.
The Q50R covers 100 percent of the Rec.709 SDR color spectrum and a remarkable 92 percent of the larger DCI-P3 HDR color gamut.
Even with quantum dots in tow, the Q50R does not produce much more light than 300 nits, which is disappointing.
Even though the Q50R is a high-dynamic-range television (HDR), with a panel this dark, you won’t notice much of a difference between standard-definition and high-definition material.
The Samsung Q50R 32-inch television, while it may be the most stunning 32-inch television on this list in terms of performance and hardware, it is also the most expensive.
Consider that the 55-inch version of the TCL 4-Series, which is our favorite entry-level TV, costs approximately $100 less than the 32-inch Q50R.
This helps put the pricing of this TV into perspective.
For most people, the 4K resolution isn’t important unless they’re sitting inches away from the screen.
In addition, although the Q50R includes Samsung’s Tizen smart platform integrated into the TV’s software, we greatly prefer the Roku experience provided by the TCL 3-Series televisions.
If money isn’t a consideration and you simply want the highest possible performance, the Q50R delivers a significantly better picture than the competition—just it’s a little overstocked for its size, to be honest.

What is the smallest 4K television available?
The smallest 4K television available for purchase is 32 inches in size and is manufactured by Samsung.
In reality, Samsung produces the only 32-inch 4K televisions on the market — the Q50R and Q60A series – and they are manufactured in Korea.
What is it about Qled that makes it so unique?
When it comes to brightness, QLED televisions offer a significant edge over conventional televisions.
Using independent backlights (rather than relying on each pixel to generate its own light), these LED backlights have the ability to produce light that is extremely, excruciatingly bright.
